A woman was arrested along with 15 grams of heroin from Kshetrigao village in Manipur.
A team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB) police station netted Thoibi (28) alias Mumtaj Begum of Kshetrigao Chandam Mayai Leikai and recovered the contraband and a cash of Rs 10,200 from her posession, the release added.
Meanwhile, The team of Narcotics and Affairs of Border police station, Imphal arrested one lamabam Bungcha (28) of Nagamapal Kangjabi Leirak of Imphal West district, presently staying at Kshetrigao Awang Leikai in Imphal East district.
A large quantity of 1084 SP capsules and 80 bottles of ROSCOF cough syrup containing codein were found in his posession on August 3 last, said the same release.
Cases have been registered at NAB police station and investigation were on, the release added.
