A 20-year-old woman was beaten to death allegedly by an 'exorcist' in Zonmana village here, police said today.
The woman had been suffering from severe headaches for which her husband and a relative took her to an 18-year-old girl in the village, practicing exorcism for treatment, SP Sharad Sachan said.
The victim was kept in a room and beaten with lathis the whole night resulting to her death, the SP said.
The woman's husband, relative and the girl have been arrested and the body sent for post-mortem examination, he said.
