Woman booked for forging college documents

A woman has been booked for allegedly forging documents of the prestigious St Stephen's College to get admission in a university in the UK, police said today.

On a complaint from the authorities of St Stephen's College, police booked a case against one Garima who applied to a university in UK using fake documents of the college.

In the complaint, the college Principal Valson Thampu said that they recieved a request from the UK university asking them to verify the credentials of Garima who had submitted documents of the college for admission there.

On verification, the college authorities found the documents fake and filed a police complaint and also communicated about it to the university.
 

Police have registered a case under relevant sections at Maurice Nagar police station in North Delhi and investigations have been taken up, a police officer said.
