Woman, brother arrested for Dwarka murder

The woman, her 24-year old brother Rakesh and his friend murdered Inder, a resident of Mohan Garden in Uttam Nagar as they were angry over his overtures towards her young daughter, police alleged, adding they and dumped his body near J J Colony, Dwarka Sec-3 after wrapping it in a gunny bag and then stuffing it in a suitcase on Sunday.

Police has also recovered the knife used in offence, mobile phone and shoes of the deceased and a motorcycle used in commission of crime.

According to police, the woman and Inder were having illicit relations but he was also "eyeing her daughter". The accused had also warned him to mend his ways but he failed to do so. Angry over it, she along with her brother and his friend, murdered Inder.

 

"On the fateful night, they called Inder and served him tea laced with sleeping pills. When he became unconscious, they slit his throat and dumped his body," said Anil Kumar Ojha, Addl CP, South West district.

The woman is an illiterate and a house wife. She has three children and her husband is a painter. Inder had helped the accused financially on several occasions also.

Rakesh presently resides in Khajuri village in Bhajanpura.
