A 34-year-old woman was today brutally beaten to death by some undentified persons in Badhalganj area of Bahraich district, apparently over land dispute, police said.
The assailants attacked her with stickts and rods in village Satnarain, police said here.
The victim, identified as Shakuntala, was injured seriously in the attack and was rushed to a hospital, where she died during treatment.
Police has lodged a case in this connection and launched a manhunt to nab the assailants.
