The incident took place yesterday at Jat Gangaicha village, 8 km from here.
The woman was identified as Kashi Bai of Madhya Pradesh, they said, adding that the injured man was admitted to hospital in Rohtak.
Police registered a case of causing death by negligence against the contractor, driver, an engineer and deputy manager of construction company.
