An Alabama woman has been charged with felony manslaughter in the death of her nine-month-old son earlier this year.
Local news outlets report Dale County Sheriff's Chief Deputy Mason Bynum says in a statement that 22-year-old Brieana Farmer of Ozark was arrested Thursday after final autopsy and toxicology results revealed her child died by toxicity.
Authorities say deputies responded to a home on Jan. 11 for a report of an unresponsive infant. The child was pronounced dead at the scene.
