A 45-year-old woman and her child were killed after a goods train ran over them near Jaipura station in Vidhyachal area here, police said today.
Puranmasi along with her one-and-half-year-old child was crossing the railway track yesterday when the incident took place, they said.
Investigation into the incident is underway, police said.
