A woman along with her infant daughter today allegedly committed suicide by jumping into the water tank of their house in Barmer district, police said.
Sunita (24) and her ten-month old daughter jumped into the tank this morning in Chohatan locality, they said.
Her family informed the police following which the body was sent for post-mortem, police said.
The cause of the suicide is unknown and investigation is underway, police added.
