A woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at Dadri Colony here following which her husband has been arrested today, police said.
Shashi committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan last night, they said.
The victim's husband Umesh, resident of Aligarh, has been arrested following a complaint by Shashi's father who accused him of assaulting his daughter, police said.
The body has been sent for post mortem and investigations are on in the matter, police said, adding, that Umesh is being interrogated.
