A 30-year-old woman, suspected to be a cybercrook and believed to be involved in the recent several ATM frauds, committed suicide in the Dugri Police Station here today, police said.
Ramandeep Kaur was found hanging in the bathroom of the police station where she had gone to relieve herself, they said.
Police Commissioner, Ludhiana, R N Dhoke said Kaur, along with Mukul Garg, were suspected to be involved in an ATM fraud in Ludhiana recently.

From initial evidences, they were called in to the police station yesterday and questioned accordingly the whole day, he said.
Subsequently, in the night they were arrested under different Sections of IPC on the basis of the evidence collected by the police, Dhoke said.
Gadgets like laptop, mobile phones, CDs, hard disks have been seized from the house of the accused where they were residing in a live-in relationship, he said.
During investigation, it has been found that the duo was well-trained and expert in committing such kind of crimes, he said, the officer said.
The accused were "habitual offenders" of ATM frauds as many similar cases have already been registered against them in Chandigarh, Haryana and Mumbai, he said.
Dhoke said, "This morning at 6 AM Kaur was found hanging in the bathroom with a long scarf tied to her neck. She was taken to a hospital where the doctors declared her as brought dead".
No suicide note was found near the place of the incident, he said.
Her post mortem was conducted by a board of the doctors of the Civil Hospital, Ludhiana, he said.
An internal inquiry has also been entrusted to Surendra Lamba, additional deputy commissioner of police, Ludhiana, said.
