A woman constable here has lodged a complaint against three policemen accusing them of raping here, police said today.
The constable posted in the Police Lines area here has alleged that constables Ajay Yadav (posted in Jhansi), Raja Bhai (posted in Auriya) and a police driver raped her during her duty at Mauranipur mela, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Etawah, Manjil Saini said.
According to the SSP, the woman constable was posted in Jhansi between 22-28 September on mela duty.
She has alleged gangrape and had apprised the Inspector General, Kanpur zone, about the same, Saini added.
An FIR was lodged yesterday based on her complaint and further investigations are underway, the SSP said.
