Woman consumes poison with three children

The woman, identified as Renu Kumari (30), wife of one Akhilesh Chaudhary, forced her children - Sonu (10), Neha (8) and Deepak (5) - to consume poison before gulping the same, the police said.

All four died soon after consuming the poisonous substance, the police said.

On being informed by the villagers, the police arrived at their house and took possession of the bodies for autopsy.

Frequent quarrel in the family was stated to be the motive behind the incident,the police said.
