A 35-year-old woman and her daughter were electrocuted after coming in contact with a live wire at Guru Mazre Barare village in Gadaganj area here, police said today.
Saroj Devi got electrocuted last night. When her daughter Kamini (10) came to her rescue, she too died of an electric shock, Additional Superintendent of Police, Ram Surat Yadav said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
