A 27-year-old woman died while two of her colleagues were injured after they fell from the terrace of their office building in an allegedly inebriated condition in South Delhi's Krishna Nagar area, police said.

The woman was identified as Lovili from Nagaland, while the other two men were identified as - Robert and Jacob - from Manipur. All victims worked in a telecom services company.

Police said that the incident took place around 3 AM last night.

"The trio, who were on night shift, went to the terrace of the building after completing their dinner and consumed alcohol by sitting on the railings of the terrace which led to their fall," a police official said.

The official said that people in the office rushed to the spot and found them lying on the ground in an unconscious state.

The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where Lovili was declared dead on arrival. Robert and Jacob were admitted in the hospital with serious injuries, police said.

While Jacob suffered from multiple bone fractures, Robert had suffered severe internal injuries, police said.

A top police official said that it clearly seems to be a case of an accident, but police have registered a case under Section 304 A (Causing death by negligence)and 337(Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others.) and the further investigation is on.
