An 18-year-old girl who was affected by meningitis and treated by a quack died at a government hospital in Baswara district of Rajasthan here today.
Tulsi Devi was admitted to the hospital on April 26 with a chain tied around her stomach, Dr VK Jain, Hospital Superintendent said.
The victim was earlier taken to a quack by her family members before being admitted her to the hospital, Jain said.
When her condition did not improve, her family brought her to the hospital where she died this evening," Dr Devesh Gupta, unit-incharge where she was admitted said.
