Woman dies due to swine flu in Bhusawal

A woman named Pratibha Vilas Nikam (36), who is a resident of Methaji Mala in Bhusawal, died due to swine flu on February 14, official sources said here today.

According to official sources, the woman was admitted to a private hospital in Bhusawal after she felt uneasy.

After she failed to recover in two days, she was admitted to the government civil hospital at Jalgaon.

However, after her condition deteriorated, she was referred to a hospital in Mumbai, but unfortunately she breathed her last on the way to Mumbai, her family said.

Medical officer Kirti Faltankar of the Bhusawal Muncipal Council confirmed her death due to swine flu after getting a report from the Jalgaon civil hospital today.
