The 45-year-old woman was going with her husband in a motorbike when the two fell off the vehicle near road humps in front of a BJD office.
The woman came under the wheels of a speeding truck which was behind the motorbike and died on the spot. Her husband was thrown off to a distance and escaped unhurt, the sources said.
The couple belonged to Tulasi Chaura village under Chandanpur police station in Puri district.
