Woman dies of swine flu; toll rises to 20 in Raj

A 39-year-old woman died of swine flu in Jaipur's government hospital, taking the death toll due to H1N1 virus to 20 since early August this year in the state.

The deceased woman, from Jhunjhunu, has succumbed to H1N1 virus at the hospital here yesterday, a health department official told PTI today.

Out of the 20 persons who succumbed to swine flu, five persons died in Kota, four in Jaipur, two each in Baran, Jhalawar, Bundi, Tonk, Bikaner and one in Udaipur district, he said.

61 persons tested positive for H1N1 virus and are under treatment at various hospitals in the state, he said.
