A woman was dragged out of a court compound by her family members in the presence of policemen, prompting the local superintendent of police to order a probe.
The video of the purported incident which surfaced on social media shows two men forcibly making her sit on a motorcycle with the policemen in the compound remaining mute spectators even though a lawyer objected to it.
Police said the woman was living with her lover for the past a few days and had come to the court for some work on Tuesday morning.
Taking note of the video, SP Abhishek Dixit said, "An explanation has been sought from the policemen seen in the video and a probe has been ordered into the entire episode."
He said so far no complaint had been received in this connection.
