A 24-year-old woman today ended her life along with her infant son and her lover allegedly by jumping in front of a moving train on the Delhi-Rohtak line near Rohad village in the Bahadurgarh sub-division, police said.
The woman, identified as Monika from Rohtak, was reportedly involved in an extra-marital affair with another married man, Ashok (26) of Chulina village. They were both residents of Ram Gopal Colony in Rohtak.
Government Railway Police SHO Sukhbir Singh said that the trio, including the two-year-old child, was crushed to death this morning under the wheels of a passenger train. Traffic on the Delhi-Rohtak line was disrupted for over an hour as a result of the suicide on the tracks.
