A 28-year-old married woman allegedly committed suicide in Nagla village here after being denied a visit to her mother's place, police said today.
Rekha Devi was found hanging with a saree in her room yesterday, they said, adding that the victim was rushed to the hospital where she was declared brought dead.
Her husband, Pradeep Kumar, said that she was upset for not being allowed to go to her parents' house.
Police said that the incident was being probed.
