A woman, who worked as a waitress at a pub here, was arrested today along with two accomplices for allegedly luring men to deserted spots and extorting them by threatening to file false cases of molestation against them.
The Gurgaon police caught hold of the accused and busted the gang after a case was registered on December 22, 2015 on the complaint of one Parvinder, who was robbed of his car and cash by a woman and another person.

"Three police teams were constituted and the three accused persons were arrested following a raid at their hideouts in old Gurgaon area," Inspector Crime Unit-9 of Gurgaon Bilaspur Rajkumar said.
During sustained interrogation, Piyush and Rishab revealed that they have committed over 30 robberies with the help of the woman.
"The woman used to lure victims to deserted spots after serving them liquor. She along with her associates then used to rob and extort them by threatening to file false case of molestation against them," Rajkumar said
The woman had previously filed false molestation cases against her landlord and a liquor shop owner, and even forced one Jaideep, who works as a bouncer, into marrying her in 2013 using similar modus operandi, he said, adding that the police has launched a man-hunt for the gang's leader Monu.
