A 29-year-old woman was found dead at an apartment in a housing complex here in Maharashtra, police said today.
Harshada Somawanshi, an unmarried woman who was into catering business, had been missing since Tuesday and her family filed a complaint in this connection, an official at the Manpada police station in Dombivali said.
During a search, the body was found late last night at the home of Somawanshi's male friend in the same complex where she resided, the official said.
The deceased's friend has been missing since last night and a search is on for him, he said.
No injury marks were found on the body which was sent for postmortem to a government hospital, the official said, adding that a case was registered under relevant sections.
