The victim, a resident of Kotwali in Malda of West Bengal, had come to Toondla for some work. She was forcefully taken by Antony alias Siddharth, who she knew before, to a hotel in Mainpuri after which he along with six other men gangraped her there, police said.

Later the victim was brought to another hotel in Etah, where was again gangraped by the men for three days, police said.

According to Kotwali police, the woman managed to escape from the hotel and narrated the incident to locals, who caught hold of the accused and handed him over to police.
