A 28-year-old woman was today allegedly gang raped by unidentified persons, who also robbed her ornaments in Bithauli village under Sidhari area here, police said.
The woman had gone to a nearby field to relieve herself early morning when the men attacked her. They raped her and then fled with her ornaments, police said.
The woman was badly injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital. A case has been lodged against unidentified persons for rape and robbery, police added.
