A 28 year-old woman was allegedly gangraped in a moving jeep by four youths after they gave her a lift in Bareilly district last night, police said today.
"The woman took a lift in a jeep near satellite bus station on Pilibhit bypass under Baradari police station area last night," Superintendent of Police Rajiv Mehrotra said.
The four youths travelling in the jeep allegedly gang-raped the woman and dumped her on the roadside this morning, the SP said adding that one of the accused has been arrested during raids and efforts were on to nab others.
