Additional District and Session Judge Manoj Tevatia also slapped a fine of Rs 2,000 on Lalita, a resident of Bihar.
Lalita had kidnapped Krishan Kumar's two children, Suruchi and Birbal, from Chotpur Colony area of Gautam Buddha Nagar district on March 30, 2011.
She had taken the children to her village in Bihar.
Later, in April, the police arrested her from Bihar and recovered the children.
The court also said that in case of non-payment of the fine she will have to undergo one month imprisonment more, prosecution said.
