A woman today allegedly gave pesticide-laced soft drinks to her three daughters and attempted to commit suicide by consuming it at home here.
According to police, the 35-year-old woman was said to be upset with her husband who used to quarrel frequently.
The woman gave pesticide-laced soft drinks to her three daughters, in the age group of nine to 16, and also consumed it at her house in Papanaickenpalayam.
Neighbours rushed them to the government hospital, where they are being treated and are said to be out of danger, police said.
