A woman and her granddaughter were killed when the wall of house collapsed on them after rainfall in Pipri village of Banda district, police said today.
Kusum Sahu (50) and her 9-year-old granddaughter were trapped under the debris yesterday. After being pulled out, they were rushed to a hospital.
They died during treatment, police said.
