A 39-year-old woman was hacked to death allegedly by her husband over a family dispute here, police said today.
Devkaran Jat hit his wife Sumitra with axe last night following a heated argument with her over some domestic issues leaving her critically injured, they said.
Hearing her cries, Jat's brother and other family members who live in an adjoining house reached the spot and rushed the woman to a nearby hospital where she was declared brought dead, police said.
The accused was arrested and being interrogated, the police added.
