A woman was arrested for
allegedly assaulting a doctor at state-run Goa Medical College and Hospital near here, police said today.
Olga Rego allegedly attacked Dr Nishad Rashid Abdul in the paediatric ward of GMC last night.
"The accused was arrested after the doctor formally lodged a complaint at outpost located in the GMC," said police inspector Uday Parab.
The accused was apparently not happy with the treatment given to her daughter in the ward by the doctor.
She had brought her daughter with breathing problems, Parab said.
She was later released on the bail.
