A woman was arrested and narcotics worth about Rs 16 lakh and a cash of Rs 11.6 lakh were seized from her possession in Navneet Nagar here, the police said today.
"Police seized 10 kg and 600 gms of ganja along with 26 mobile phones from the possession of Naseem in Kotwali area during a raid at her residence last night," SSP Swapnil Mamgaee said.
He said the hunt for Javid, the kingpin of the racket and his son Saddam, who managed to flee during the raid is on.
