A woman has been arrested and 30 pouches of illicit liquor was recovered from her possession at Katra in Resai district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Naveeta Rani a resident of Pouni Mandir in Katra was intercepted yesterday and during checking 30 pouches of illicit liquor were recovered from her possession which she was allegedly trying to smuggle, a police spokesperson said.
The woman has been arrested and booked under various sections of the Excise Act, he said.
