A 32-year-old woman was seriously injured when two bike-borne men allegedly opened fire at her in Loni area here today, police said.
The incident took place this morning when Sitara Praveen, the victim, was standing outside her house in Pooja Colony when the bike-borne assailants shot at her and fled away from the spot.
She had sustained bullet injuries on her stomach in the incident and later rushed to hospital, where her condition was stated to be critical, police said.
A case has been registered in this regard, they added.
