A crude bomb, hidden in the field by anti-social elements, exploded as soon as Kalpana Devi (30) set her foot on the explosive injuring her seriously, the sources said.
She was admitted to a hospital in Purnia district, they said.
An investigation was underway in the bomb blast incident.
