A married woman jumped into the Chenab
river in Doda district here today and is yet to be traced, police said.
Shanti Devi, wife of one Gulan Chand of Khadoot village here, jumped into the river, they said.
Police and locals launched a search operation, but no whereabouts were found of her in the river, he said, adding that the reason behind her taking the step is not known.
A case has been registered in this regard, police said.
