Sandy Robson, an Australian woman retracing the 1930's sea expedition of Oskar Speck, berthed at Mandapam in her kayak after visiting many countries, Coast Guard officials said.
They said Robson would stay overnight at the guest house at Kovilvadi and would leave this town tomorrow morning.
Robson started her mission in May 2011 to retrace the sea kayaking expedition by Speck in 1932 from Germany to Australia.
Speck took seven years to complete his journey and Robson is trying to beat that record.
