A woman was killed and 26 people were injured when a private bus fell into a gorge in Mandi district of Himachal Pradesh today.
The mishap occurred at village Khurahal in Sundernagar sub- division of Mandi district around 5 pm.
The bus was going to Dharli from Sundernagar and fell into the gorge about 45 kms from here.
According to SP (Mandi) Prem Kumar, the deceased was identified as Kanchana Devi (24) while the injured were admitted in Civil Hospital, Sundernagar and one has been referred to Zonal Hospital, Mandi.
A case has been registered against the driver of the bus who was also injured inthe accident.
