A 45-year-old-woman was killed while her husband along with two sons sustained serious injuries today after a bear attacked them at Thottamokkai, about 40 Km from here.
The woman, Maadi, her husband Aalan, sons Dinakaran and Kumar were standing outside their tea estate to transport the plucked tea leaves to factory, police said.
The bear suddenly appeared from the bush and attacked them.
Maadi died while other three were seriously injured and were admitted to the Government hospital in Kothagiri, they said.
