A woman was killed and her husband seriously injured when some unidentified men attacked them at Fatehganj Paschim area here, police said today.
Navneet (28) and his wife, Preeti (25), were going somewhere on a bike last night when they were attacked by unidentified persons, Superintendent of Police (SP), Rural, Brijesh Kumar Srivastav said.
Preeti died on the spot while Navneet was rushed to the hospital, where his condition was stated to be stable.
Police is probing the matter, he added.
