A 25-year-old woman was killed and her husband injured when the motorbike they were riding collided with a tractor-trolley at Aliganj in the district, police said today.
The incident occurred last night. The couple, identified as Dileep (26) and Lata, were taken to a nearby hospital but were later transferred to another hospital in Farrukhabad, they said, adding Lata succumbed to her injuries on the way.
The driver of the vehicle fled the spot after the accident, police said.
An FIR has been lodged, police said, adding no arrest has been made so far in this connection.
