A woman was killed and her husband injured in lightning in Jharkhand's Giridih district today.
Police said the couple along with their two children were on their way to their paddy field at Chotki Kharagdiha village when the lightning struck killing the woman on the spot.
The two children escaped unhurt, the police added.
