A 25-year-old woman was killed and her neighbour injured in a road accident in Sukhpura area here and on learning about her death her father died of cardiac arrest.
The victim, identified as Shalini, was killed and her neighbour Jitendra Yadav (20) injured when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck, police said today.
They were going to see her father who was admitted to a hospital in Varanasi.
On getting the news of Shalini's death, her father Nathuni Ram (66), a retired Naib Tehsildar, died of cardiac arrest.
