A 45-year-old woman was killed while her son was injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a bus near Kot Ise Khan here, police said today.
The deceased Jasvir Kaur was riding pillion when the incident took place yesterday, they said, adding her son Jarnail Singh was injured in the accident.
Police said the duo were returning after paying obeisance at a gurdwara here.
A case has been registered against bus driver, Tarsem Singh of Bajeke, who is absconding, police said.
