A woman allegedly strangulated her four-month-old son before taking her life near Chaksu town here, police said today.
28-year old Nirma Devi was found hanging from the ceiling of her room, Chaksu police station SHO Rampratap said. Her son's body was also found at the residence.
The bodies were shifted to a nearby hospital for post- mortem.
Her father, Badrinarayan, said she had not been in a proper mental state for some time. The matter is being investigated, police said.
