Kulwant Kaur, who was married to Balraj Singh, consumed poison and was rushed to a hospital where she succumbed today, police said.
According to the complaint filed by Kaur's brother, his sister was upset over the illicit relation of her husband with a woman and due to this she took the extreme step.
Kaur's husband and the woman with whom he was having the relation have been booked, police said.
