A 55-year-old woman was mauled to death by a leopard in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir this morning, a police officer said.
Aziza Begum, a resident of Badder area of the district, was attacked by a leopard outside her house in the wee hours today, he said.
The victim was critically injured and died on the spot, the officer said, adding, the leopard was chased away by the villagers.
The body handed over to the family members after conducting all legal and medical formalities, he said.
