A 21-year-old woman was brutally killed, allegedly by her husband and father-in-law in Murbad taluka here, police said today.
According to API MW Shinde of Tokawade police station, accused Malu Hari Kavte (23) along with his father Hari Nama Kavte (55) beat the young housewife Lalita yesterday and also attacked her with sharp weapons resulting in her death on the spot.
The incident took place in Banachiwadi locality in Murbad following which both the father-son duo were charged under section 302 rw 34 of the IPC and arrested.
Hari doubted Lalita's character which often led quarrels, police said.
