A woman pickpocket has been apprehended for allegedly stealing a purse from a female passenger in the Delhi Metro.
The incident occurred yesterday when a 65-year-old woman travelling from Noida City Centre to Golf Course station noticed that her purse containing Rs 7,000 was missing.
The CISF, which guards the Metro operations, immediately swung into action and saw in CCTV footage a woman, who had a little boy with her, stealing the purse from the traveller's bag.

CISF personnel kept a watch and saw her entering a Metro station in the evening.
"She was apprehended and on search the stolen purse and other documents belonging to the traveller were recovered. She has been handed over to Noida Police," a senior CISF officer said.
In a separate incident, an alert CISF constable averted a possible suicide attempt by a college going girl at Rajouri Garden Metro station today.
"Constable Rupam Boro saw on CCTV that a young girl was trying to climb the grill of the station in an attempt to jump off.
A boy, who was her friend, was trying to dissuade her from doing so," an official said.
Finally, the students, who are in BA first year, were apprehended by a team of CISF personnel and the matter was reported to the police, the official said.
The girl said he was having some domestic problems and was attempting to take the extreme step, they said.
